Sean Johnson is a certified personal trainer with 14 years of experience. He is nationally and internationally certified with ISSA, NASM, ACE, APEX, IFPA as well as having specialty certifications; Specialist in Performance Nutrition (ISSA), Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM), Post-Rehabilitation Specialist and Nutritionist (APEX).

Diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) at age 16, Sean was told that he had the back of an 80-year-old. Considering the number of affected vertebrae (so many that vertebral fusion was not an option), specialists recommended that Sean never run or play sports. As an aspiring bodybuilder, Sean combined his interest in lifting with rigorous independent research. His method of self-treatment required a specific re-training of his back muscles to relieve pressure from the spine. Subsequently, he developed a method of training that allows intense, productive workouts without applying torque to the spine, joints, ligaments, or tendons.

In recent years, Sean has formulated his method as patent-protected intellectual property. He has used this method with numerous clients, achieving dramatic results--not only for clients in post-rehab conditioning, but also for perfectly healthy clients who wished to lose body fat.
